I’m bringing models back (yeah). It’s been entirely too long since Duncan took his clothes off in the laundry room.

In November 2003, Junk-mag.com started out as a web magazine, updated about once a month, all at once. There were cover images, e-pages, and recurring columns. This was before blogs were as monstrous and popular as they are today, and well after shoddily put together photocopied paper ‘zines were the popular alternative thing to do. We were sort of an in-between link that happened to have lots of photos of guys we knew wearing little or no clothing, and that happened also to be free to access. The absolute point of Junk-mag.com, when it started and for the first couple of years, was the model photos.

I have to admit, the first ten or twenty photo sets I put up were pretty technically stupid. The guys were all shockingly attractive in their reality and familiarity, but the photos themselves were small, low quality, poorly resized, overly contrasted… in short, they were bad photos. By my standards, anyway. Some say my photos are still technically bad, and I sometimes kind of agree. But these days I know what I’m working with and what I like, and with Harrison’s model set below I tried to show you how sexy he is, how intimate a shoot can be, and that there’s something amazing to be done with any piece of equipment.
